About Us

A Historic Inn with Heart & Character

The Wilson Arms is a family-run country inn set in the peaceful village of Sneaton, just 3 miles from Whitby town centre. Our historic Grade II listed building dates back to the 18th century, and features original wooden beams, roaring log fires in winter, and sweeping views down the valley toward Whitby harbour and the famous Abbey.

Good Food, Great Company

Traditional quality pub food using local suppliers where possible, paired with a fine selection of real ales, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Evening Dining

Hearty home-cooked meals in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Booking is advisable.

Sunday Lunch & Evening

Traditional Sunday roast with children's menu and highchairs available. Evening meals also served on Sundays. Book in advance.

Sun: 12pm–3pm & 6pm–8:30pm
